The Harvey Norman Port Macquarie Technology & Entertainment Team is seeking a passionate, customer service focused Salesperson to join them in delivering Great Service, Always! to their customers.

As a Salesperson, you will have an understanding of life at home solutions and a desire to find the best outcome for our customers.

Who we are looking for:

• Must be reliable
• Must be a confident person with the ability of talking to customers
• Have a 'can do attitude', is focused and can work in a fast-paced environment  
• You should have an interest or passion for technology products, a general knowledge is all that is required.
• You need to be a team player because you are working with another five staff
• Longevity, someone either looking for a career or at least a minimum 3 year commitment
• Someone who wants to get rewarded for performance, as this is a commission based role, the better you perform the more money you can earn
• An understanding of sales, budgets and KPIs would be preferable

 About the Role 

• Your primary job is to do sales and to achieve budgets with KPIs 
• A large part of your role is to sell computers, mobiles phones and connect customers to the Optus network
• Providing customer service by going above and beyond
• There is constant training involved and you do need to show initiative and do things to help improve your own product knowledge
• Cashiering as well as assisting customers at the photo lab
• You will assist with customer repairs and receiving of stock
• You will be merchandising the store and updating sales tickets regularly
• You get paid a base wage plus commissions weekly with the opportunity of earning monthly bonuses
• The store is open throughout the year, there is no shutdown period, and you will be expected to work during the busier months (June, November and December)
