Join our Somersby Warehouse team as a Warehouse Storeperson / Delivery Driver.

• Work 2 days in our Somersby Warehouse
• ‘On Road’ for three days (Including overnight stays)
• MR License is preferred but not essential  

Harvey Norman Commercial Division specialises in the supply of goods to project builders, developers, architects & designers. Our team of experienced and dedicated staff go that extra mile to ensure a professional and personalised service from the initial quote, right through to delivery.

You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers, assisting with reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. Ensure all procedures regarding inventory are maintained and be methodical in following OH&S procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out instructions as directed from Management and/or Supervisors
• Check condition of goods, product codes and quantities and load vehicles - complete run sheets as required – obtain signatures/names of customers upon delivery and complete all necessary paperwork
• Liaise with customers regarding delivery of goods 
• Stocktake preparation as required and requested
• Assist the warehouse team
• Ensure Company supplied shirts and Hi visibility vests are worn at all times. Ensure that footwear is appropriate for warehouse safety
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean and driven in a safe manner as per Company Policy, as well as OH&S and Licensing regulations
• Offer exceptional customer service & treat customers with respect at all times
• Treat staff members and fellow workers with respect at all times
• Liaise with Sales/ Co-ordinations staff regarding issues with Customer Orders etc

What we Require:

• Must hold relevant white card
• MR License is preferred but not essential
• LF/LO License preferred
• Excellent Communication skills
• Strong Problem-Solving skills
• The ability to work in a team environment
• Attention to detail
